Day 1 235 miles
Meeting in Portsmouth we take the ferry Cherbourg, aboard you have time get to know others on the tour. We disembark in Cherbourg and take a well paced ride past Utah Beach and some scenic roads and castles of Normandy toward our Lunch stop in the "prettiest village of France" Riding though the national parks point south for Tours our hotel for tonight and tomorrow is an elegant historical 4* Hotel with secure Parking
Day 2 / 180 miles
Today is all about the many different Chateau's in the area we have photo opportunities along the way and a chance to visit a couple of the castles should we chose.This is a very flexible day... some may choose to enjoy the hotel or city sights whilst others may come on the Chateau ride - we also have 2 other rideouts for your GPS should anyone wish to have a 'free ride' Once the day is complete the we will relax tonight in the same hotel as the previous night
Day 3 / 240 miles
Our journey South towards Cahors continues though the National Parks of the Limousine region - superb scenery and fantastic flowing roads which twist and turn beside crystal rivers a great days riding today. Tonight we will rest in a unique centuries-old 4* Hotel with secure parking right in the heart Rocamadour - a small clifftop village in south-central France. It is known for the Cité Réligieuse complex of buildings, accessed via the Grand Escalier staircase.
Day 4 / 200 miles
Sweeping roads lead us through the National park and under the Millau Viaduct today where we can enjoy Lunch and a photo session before we head North East following the Gorge Du Tarn road - another incredible days ride which will have you grinning from start to finish.
Day 5 300 miles
Heading North today on toll-free roads we travel along fast roads with sweeping bends towards Saumur the historic town located between the Loire and Thouet rivers area famous for producing some of France Finest wines Our 4* hotel for the night is located a 7 minute walk from the Chateau and an abundance of bars and restaurants
Day 6 / 170 miles
Heading for Cherbourg today we ride on country roads to Angers then on past a Medieval Castle and Mont St Micheal allowing us some final photos and a bite to eat before boarding our ferry for home
We require a £200.00 deposit at the time of booking. The balance payment is due 10 weeks before the commencement date.
